Microneedling Radiofrequency
Radiofrequency microneedling combines the benefits of collagen induction therapy and radiofrequency thermal energy to stimulate collagen in the skin. New collagen is attributed to the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, lax skin, acne scars, and other common concerns. We also treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) with radiofrequency microneedling. Dr. Baker offer microneedling radiofrequency treatments with the Morpheus8 system.
Procedure
Microneedling radiofrequency therapy is performed using a device that creates micro-perforations in the skin while simultaneously delivering RF energy. You may experience a slight warming sensation during the procedure.
Candidates
Radiofrequency microneedling treatments the same conditions as microneedling. The advantage of RF microneedling is that it may produce higher levels of collagen and elastin compared to microneedling alone.
Recovery
RF microneedling does not require any downtime. Your skin may feel slightly warn and have a light pink appearance for the first few hours.
