Facial Rejuvenation

Vampire Facial

A Glowing And Younger-Looking Appearance...

o-shot

What Is A PRP Facial?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Skin Rejuvenation Treatment is an advanced and ground-breaking anti-aging treatment physicians use to help repair damaged or injured tissues in the body. This minimally invasive procedure helps initiate the regenerative process by utilizing the growth factors that platelets are known to contain. PRP Skin Rejuvenation Treatment is autologous, meaning it is derived from the patient, therefore reducing the risk of rejection or allergic reaction.

Often called a Vampire Facial this procedure is a unique and trendy treatment that uses the power of your blood’s platelets to make your complexion look and feel younger. The Vampire Facial works by removing a few teaspoons of your blood – usually from the upper arm area – and separating the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with a centrifuge machine. The PRP is then topically applied during and after micro-needling to help produce a glowing and younger-looking appearance. The platelets help to improve the skin’s cellular turnover, which treats a number of common complexion complaints.

Am I a Good Candidate For a PRP Facial?

You’re a good candidate for a Vampire Facial if you have complexion issues like wrinkles and fine lines, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, uneven skin tone, and more. You should be a healthy non-smoker with realistic expectations for this procedure.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

Your PRP Facial treatment will usually take about an hour or more to perform. You may need to undergo more than one Vampire Facial to see your ideal results, depending on what complexion issue you’d like to treat.

What are the Benefits?

  • Collagen production
  • Skin tightening and toning
  • Reduction of fine lines and wrinkling
  • Acne damage and scaring
  • Crow’ feet
  • Dark circles under eyes
  • Sun damaged skin around the eyes

What Results Will I See?

*You’ll usually see results about two to three weeks after your PRP Facial treatment; however, if you need to undergo more than one procedure, you’ll likely see your final results about one month after your last Vampire Facial.

Is There Any Downtime?

There’s no downtime associated with your Vampire Facial treatment; however, you may notice that your skin looks red and slightly swollen for 2 – 4 days after your treatment. It’s important to wear sunscreen at this time, as your skin will be especially sensitive to the sun’s UV rays.

Microdermabrasion

Help Reveal Softer, Smoother More Vibrant Skin...

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a safe and effective skin restoration procedure to help reveal softer, smoother more vibrant skin. Utilizing a high-speed stream of tiny pure crystals, microdermabrasion gently exfoliates to restore healthy skin texture, remove age and sun damage spots, clean away acne and blackheads, and reduce minor scars and fine lines – all without the recovery time associated with deeper chemical peels and laser procedures. Our Dallas microdermabrasion procedure provides predictable, gradual surface restoration through a painless, low-risk, low-cost technique that is applicable for all skin types and colors.

We offer an alternative to microdermabrasion, the HydraFacial®, a process that cleanses, exfoliates, and rejuvenates your skin.

What It Treats?

Microdermabrasion works effectively not only for the face, but also for other sites previously considered difficult or risky to treat. It is very popular for treating sun damage and aging on the neck, décolleté, forearms, and hands. Microdermabrasion is a great opportunity for patients who are not quite ready for the expense or recovery time of laser skin resurfacing, but who still wish to enjoy some rejuvenation of their skin.

Radio Frequency Microneedling

Advanced Ground-Breaking Anti-Aging Treatment...

Microneedling1

What is micro needling?

Microneedling is a treatment technique that involves the use of a hand device. This device has small fine needles that are used to create small injuries on the skin to trigger the body’s process of healing. This trigger causes the skin to produce elastin and collagen which are primal elements that are required for skin smoothness and elasticity. Microneedling is a process that is mainly done to induce the production of collagen in the skin that has reduced over the years as you get old. Women and men who have stretch marks on their skin, scarring, and large pores can get this treatment to improve the texture of their skin. The procedure has no adverse effects, and there is very little downtime which allows one to have it at any time of the year.

PRP and Radiofrequency

PRP and Radiofrequency are a new treatment option that you can add to your micro needling to improve the results. PRP is also known as Platelet Rich Plasma is a form of treatment that utilizes blood plasma that is rich in platelets. The platelets in the clotted area are responsible for realizing growth factors to promote the healing in the microneedle area. PRP also attracts stem cells in this area of the area that is injured facilitating the repairing of damaged tissue. This process allows the tissue in the skin to be remodeled providing one with healthy and younger skin.

Radiofrequency, on the other hand, is a form of electric current or heat that is done on the skin to repair the damaged tissues. Radiofrequency in micro-needling is when a microneedle is used to deliver radiofrequency energy into the skin tissues. The energy stimulates the production of fibroblasts which in turn produce elastin and collagen. The radiofrequency procedure is different from the normal micro needling because there is the presence of both heat energy and the mechanical injury caused by the needle. This heat is essential in the process because it causes two things to happen:

First, the heat causes the collagen that already exists to shorten causing the skin to become tighter.

Second, it causes the production of collagen and elastin that repair the damaged tissue from micro needling.

The procedure of using radiofrequency in micro-needling is known as Fractional micro needling Radiofrequency. This procedure has very little downtime as you experience redness for only 24hours to 48hours.

Chemical Peel

A Smoother Radiant Glow is Just A Few Days Away...

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is one of the least invasive ways to improve the appearance of your skin, giving it a smoother, younger appearance. Regular treatments can help by minimizing fine lines, mild brown spots (melasma), sun damage, reduce acne scarring, speed up collagen production and increase cellular turnover. Peels can be done the on face, neck, chest, arms and back of hands. A Smoother radiant glow is just a few days away.

How does it work?

Chemical peels exfoliate the top layer of skin, causing the natural cell-turnover process to speed up. They refresh the skin by removing discolored skin cells. For acne-prone skin, chemical peels help minimize oil production, unplug pores and shrink blemishes.

A chemical solution is applied to the skin. Depending on the particular chemical, you may experience mild tingling sensation. Chemical peels work by irritating the top layer of the skin by breaking up the oils that hold dead cells together.

We offer a range of peels to superficial with minimal downtime of a couple days to deep peels administerted by our physician that may have up to 2 weeks of downtime but offer more dramatic results for skin rejuvenation.

What are the side effects and risks?

Possible risks and side effects include but are not limited to: bruising, redness, irritation, discomfort, peeling, flaking, swelling, crusting, scabbing, pigmentation changes, infection, and increased sensitivity to the sun. It is imperative that patients use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (like EltaMD) following treatment to protect the new skin and prevent burning or hyperpigmentation. Patients on Accutane are not candidates for chemical peel treatment. Most skin types can be treated with chemical peels, and it is a great option for patients looking for improvement in their skin but aren’t ready for laser treatments.

Dermaplanning

A Collagen Mask for Gorgeous, Glowing Skin...

What is Dermaplane?

Dermaplane is an effective way to exfoliate the face, revealing radiant and healthy skin. It also removes the fine, “peach fuzz” hair on the face. This hair often causes a buildup of dirt and oils in the follicles, so removing the hair gives the patient healthier looking skin. Removing epidermal skin also allows products to penetrate more readily into the deeper layers.

This treatment can be combined with a collagen mask for gorgeous, glowing skin. It is also a great treatment for patients who are pregnant or nursing and want a deep exfoliation, but are not allowed to use peeling agents.

How does it work?

A sterile surgical scalpel is used in a feathering motion to gently scrape away the surface layer of dirt, oil, and dead skin cells. It then increases the cell turnover, smoothing and softening skin.

How do I prepare?

Do not use retinol or harsh, drying products on the area to be treated for 48 hours prior to treatment. Patients with inflamed acne or raised lesions on the skin should not undergo dermaplaning.

What are the side effects and risks?

There are no side effects and no downtime associated with dermaplane.
