FaceTite is a revolutionary minimally invasive skin tightening technology that allows us to provide results comparable to traditional procedures, but without ugly scars.
Facetite belongs to the family of minimally invasive surgical technologies by InMode that uses bi-directional radiofrequency energy to tighten skin. It is another tool in the surgeon’s hand to provide superior results, while minimizing your downtime and eliminating large, ugly scars. By precisely targeting the connective tissue layer under your skin and delivering powerful computer controlled energy, Dr. Baker is able to provide a solution for patients who have saggy skin but don’t want the downtime or scars of older, traditional skin tightening procedures. FaceTite® results in a younger appearance without major, invasive surgery, making this an ideal solution for men and women who are interested in a minimally invasive facelift.
Facetite and its larger sibling Bodytite are a family of technologies that provide solutions for the entire body. Loose skin from the midface, jowls and neck can be treated with Facetite. Facetite can be considered as a minimally invasive alternative to the traditional facelift or necklift. Since the treatment doesn’t involve cutting, has little to no downtime and doesn’t require general anesthesia, almost any area of the body that has loose skin can be treated.
You should be in good health before having any type of cosmetic procedure. FaceTite® is recommended for patients who have lax skin and fat deposits that can not be addressed through non invasive treatments but are not ready for the full surgical correction of a face or necklift.
You do not need to be under general anesthesia for your Facetite procedure. We provide some medication that allows you to relax and many patients nap during the process. We will make an entry point the size of a single strand of spaghetti. Fluid that contains numbing medicine is inserted through this tiny opening.
The Facetite® device is designed with two probes that emit radiofrequency energy. The first probe stays outside the skin, and the second is inserted into the subcutaneous layer, under the skin. Care is taken to place the inner probe into the connective support layer. The device then precisely places energy into the skin to reorganize and tighten collagen fibers. This is performed in a grid like pattern across the treatment area to ensure all sections of skin are uniformly tightened.
After your FaceTite® treatment, expect some swelling, bruising and tenderness. You should be able to return to work within 48 hours. Swelling and bruising, while less than with a traditional facelift are still possible and could take up to a couple weeks to fully resolve. Final results can take several months as the collagen fibers in skin reorganize and slowly contract throughout the healing process.
Breaking down of collagen is a natural part of aging. If you continue to take care of your body, the results of your Facetite® treatment could last between 5 to 7 years or longer.
