BodyTite is a family of minimally invasive surgical technologies by InMode that uses bi-directional radiofrequency energy to tighten skin. It is another tool in the surgeon’s hand to provide superior results, while minimizing your downtime and eliminating large, ugly scars.
By precisely targeting the connective tissue layer under your skin and delivering powerful computer controlled energy, Dr. Baker is able to provide a solution for patients who have saggy skin but don’t want the downtime or scars of older, traditional skin tightening procedures. BodyTite reviews prove how effective the treatment is for areas that appear flabby despite efforts to tone up with diet and exercise. The problem in these cases is not just excess fat, but also lax skin that allows the area to sag. BodyTite corrects the loose skin for a more firm and natural appearance.
Bodytite and Facetite are a family of technologies that provide solutions for the entire body. Loose skin from the midface, jowls, neck down to the breasts, abdomen, back, arms, buttocks, thighs and even knees can be treated with Bodytite. Older techniques such as tummy tucks, arm lifts, thigh lifts, brachioplasties, and even breast lifts can now be replaced in many cases by Bodytite technology. Just as many moms in the past have opted for a “mommy makeover”, they now have a minimally invasive option to produce similar results, but with less downtime and without the ugly scars. Since the treatment doesn’t involve cutting, has little to no downtime and doesn’t require general anesthesia, almost any area of the body that has loose skin can be treated.

BodyTite® before and after pictures reveal the complex nature of having excess fat and loose skin. Power Assisted Liposuction is not recommended for men and women with loose skin because once the fat is removed, the patient is left with skin folds. BodyTite® offers these patients a solution by simultaneously tightening the skin and eliminating fat. Generally speaking, massive weight loss patients are not a candidate for BodyTite® and need a more traditional skin tightening/removal procedure. Dr. Baker discusses other factors to consider as well during the free consultation.
You do not need to be under general anesthesia for your Bodytite® procedure. We provide some medication that allows you to relax and many patients nap during the process. We will make an entry point about half the size of a pencil eraser. Fluid that contains numbing medicine is inserted through this tiny opening. The BodyTite® device is designed with two probes that emit radiofrequency energy. The first probe stays outside the skin, and the second is inserted into the subcutaneous layer, under the skin. Care is taken to place the inner probe into the connective support layer. The device then precisely places energy into the skin to reorganize and tighten collagen fibers. This is performed in a grid like pattern across the treatment area to ensure all sections of skin are uniformly tightened.
You will have soreness like you had an intense workout for a few days after the procedure. Most people can return to work within a couple days. You will have some minor discomfort that can be managed with non-prescription medications. Swelling and bruising may last up to two weeks. Final results can take several months as the collagen fibers in skin reorganize and slowly contract throughout the healing process.
Breaking down of collagen is a natural part of aging. If you continue to take care of your body, the results of your BodyTite® treatment could last between 5 to 7 years or longer.
No! Bodytite is a precision engineered radiofrequency surgical tool that offers significant advantages over laser. We are able to safely deliver exponentially more energy to connective tissue compared to a laser- all while safely monitoring real time temperature.
No. Bodytite is a component of our next generation body contouring where we frequently remove fat and tighten skin in the same procedure. However, it is important to understand that Bodytite is a tool to tighten skin and remove skin laxity, while we use other precision engineered, patented tools to sculpt and buff your fat away. Bodytite has the power to melt modest fat on it’s own, but that melted fat must still be removed from the body.
No. Bodytite is a one and done process. Because it is a minimally invasive surgical procedure, it has the power to deliver results in one session compared to multiple sessions for common non surgical procedures. In fact, Bodytite is so powerful, that you will benefit from your tighter skin for 7-10+ years after your procedure!
