Minimally invasive face and body surgery is an alternative to traditional excisional (cutting or removing tissue) plastic surgery for men and women who have loose skin and areas of stubborn fat. Diet and exercise alone may not be enough to eliminate this fat, and even if you stay committed to a healthy lifestyle, it could take years to achieve toned and flattering contours. Plastic surgery is often recommended to shape the body in these cases, but you may be able to achieve your goals without the scars and downtime of traditional techniques.

Minimally invasive body surgery requires little downtime. You may have some tenderness with power assisted liposuction and BodyTite® that lasts for 2-3 days, but this is minimal. Patients describe the level of soreness as being similar to an intense workout. We ask that you restrict high intensity activity for 2 weeks following your procedure, but there are no lifting restrictions or need to protect sutures, since you won’t have any! The recovery from our treatments is significantly less than excisional body surgery. The Retreat recommends lymphatic massage to expedite recovery and obtain highest level results.

Results

Properly maintained, results from face and body surgery can last decades. As with all plastic surgery, you will need to stay active, eat right, and exercise to keep your body toned.
