Meet Dr. Joshua Baker

Dr. Joshua Baker is a highly trained and experienced cosmetic surgeon specializing in body sculpting, breast and buttock fat grafting as well as advanced aesthetic procedures involving stem cell treatments and all aspects of topical face and body treatments. Dr. Baker has an exquisite eye for natural beauty and collaborates with each patient to achieve her or his version of the ideal physical form. Dr. Baker utilizes cutting edge technology combined with current state of the art science to help patients reach their aesthetic and wellness goals.

Dr. Baker is a Texas native, born and raised in East Texas. He was fortunate to attend the University of Arkansas and, at the age of 18, was one of five students accepted into the prestigious honors program which provided students the opportunity to earn credit towards a Ph.D. while simultaneously completing their B.S. degree. Dr. Baker also worked with and presented research papers at regional and state level conferences on coagulopathy during his undergraduate education. Dr. Baker was inducted into multiple honor societies and graduated with a B.S. degree Summa Cum Laude, an academic feat that has been accomplished fewer than 10 times in the college’s history-and never by someone so young.

Following an accomplished undergraduate resume, Dr. Baker was fortunate to be accepted into medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in the world-famous Texas Medical Center. Dr. Baker was 1 of 30, out of a class size of 200, to be awarded a scholarship upon beginning his medical studies. Here at the 6th largest medical school in the nation, Dr. Baker was exposed to world class educators and mentor physicians at institutions such as M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, TIRR, Memorial Hermann, Children’s Memorial Hermann, The Methodist Hospital among many others throughout the Houston metro area. Alongside his medical education, Dr. Baker submitted research findings for presentation at local and national meetings.

After earning his medical degree at the age of 24, Dr. Baker was pleased to receive surgical training in Phoenix and Scottsdale Arizona.

Here he was able to develop and refine his surgical skills as he was exposed to complex head, face and neck reconstruction cases, facial trauma, breast reconstruction, excess skin removal, as well as his first exposure to body sculpture through suction assisted lipectomy (aka liposuction) and fat grafting/ fat transfers that would become the foundation for his later practice as a cosmetic body contouring specialist.

Building on a successful Dallas body contouring practice, Dr. Baker felt that opening a practice near his home in Rockwall County was the next logical step in his career. Dr. Baker believes that listening to the patient and opening an honest dialogue is the first step to achieving patient satisfaction. Dr. Baker is a early technology adopter and incorporates findings from conferences, educational seminars as well as his broad experience to custom tailor a treatment to the individual patient.

Dr. Baker spends time training new surgeons that are on-boarding with Elite Body Sculpture as new offices are opened nationally and internationally. Dr. Baker is a member of Dallas County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Society of Liposuction Surgery, American Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgery, American Academy of Facial Esthetics and the World Association of Gluteal Surgeons.
